Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is on Thursday. Katie is coming into town with her boyfriend, John. I am excited to spend the first Thanksgiving with her in about 11 years. We are all, including Mom, spending it at Papa's and are cooking. Thanksgiving has never been the same since Grandpa passed. Now that the Cressall grandparents have passed, there are no longer the Cressall Thanksgivings either. Life is changing so fast. I hope I accept it.

The Most Important Traits

I have been thinking a lot about character traits I want to refine and develop. I think kindness and bravery are definitely some I want to work on. I actually cannot stand arrogance and pride. Can people really change? Can you overcome your negative qualities that prevent you from being a fully present and Christ-like person? I think that character development will definitely be something I will be working on instead of focusing on my life map and OCD.

It will be a short entry this week. I have done a whole late of dating the past 2.5 to 3 years or so. In early 2017 was when I seriously put effort into dating. I have honestly never made it past the second date. I am hoping "Prince Charming" will come along before I get too old. I am already 26. I went out with a 22 year old on Friday. I am honestly surprised he even wanted to go out with me. But oh well. I have another date tomorrow. I will update next week.

History of Journaling

This blog is my third official journal. I am pretty sure I had a paper journal in elementary school but that is long lost and I think I only wrote 1 or 2 entries My first journal was the blog I kept while I was teaching English in Thailand and my second journal was my mission blog. I have really enjoyed focusing on my whole life on this blog. My Thailand blog is still on this profile and I think my mission blog is still under Leanna's profile.
