Thesis and Job Interview

I am finally done with the first draft of my thesis! Now I have a month to do edits. I will do a lot of it during spring break. I also have a school registrar interview that I will prepare for tonight. I also decided to put dating on the backburner until May when grad school is all finished and I hopefully have a full-time education job secured for the end of summer.

Still Almost Done

I didn't quite finish my thesis but I only have 4 pages left which is great too! I have my interview at American Preparatory Academy tomorrow for the history teaching position. I also have a date with a friend on Friday. I will update! I also had the volunteer appreciation dinner at NHMU for my service in 2018. I won the Presidential Award for Service with the bronze level!

Almost at the Finish Line

I only have 17 pages of my master's thesis left! Then many revisions. I am definitely in the senioritis stage of grad school and only working part time. I have my history teaching interview next week too. I have also been doing more dating on Bumble which has been interesting. I will update next week. Hopefully I will be done!

Calmer Week

This past week was a lot calmer! I submitted the first half of my master's thesis to my thesis advisor yesterday. I have not, however, edited the first two chapters. I was pretty embarrassed to turn in those chapter unrevised. Oh well. I will work on some more tonight. Nothing was really new this week. Leanna, Mom, and I went to the Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point on Tuesday which was way fun! They had a lot of the same bugs as the natural history museum and it was bigger than Butterfly Pavillion in Colorado! This week is just work and thesis work. I have my second interview for NSLC this week too. Apparently they are combining the history/government program with the STEM program this year? I will update!

Living Planet Aquarium Interview and the end of Bumble

On Friday I had my interview to be a School Programs Education Presenter at the Living Planet Aquarium. I did not like the interview at all. I think I did ok, not good, not bad. However, their interview process was a bit of a mess. They had me give a 3 minute science presentation so I did the adaptation activity from the Natural History Museum field trip activities. Then they had me handle a giant cave cockroach. We cannot even handle those at the museum and this one was very stressed and kept moving. Anyone I turned the job down after the interview. It's full-time but it's a little insulting they only pay $11 an hour for what they expect. I also cancelled my two dates from Bumble for Friday and Saturday nights and deleted the app. I will try again to date LDS guys in May when I am done with grad school. Other than all that, I have just been working as a TA and on my thesis. I will apply for other teaching jobs this week. I also finally got an email from Annie at the museum about field trips after months. I don't even know even I am even still a Gallery Guru anymore lol.
