Praxis Results and DinoFest

Yesterday was DinoFest and I helped with kids' crafts this year. Last year I worked with the computer "build your own dinosaur" lab. I also took my elementary content Praxis exam on Friday. I did not pass the math section and just barely missed the science section. I will be studying and retaking those sections. I did, however, get almost perfect scores on the language arts and social studies sections. I hope I can get all my elementary license stuff to have with my secondary social studies composite license in time for the charter school job fair in March.

Typical Week

I finished Dibels testing last week and I submitted my proposal and literature review for my master's thesis. Tomorrow there is no school due to Martin Luther King Day. There is supposed to be a really big snowstorm. I have to write my abstract this week and finish my primary research. I am also taking the elementary Praxis exam on Friday to get my elementary teaching license in addition to my secondary social studies license. I am worried about the math section! Wish me luck!

Thesis, Praxis, and Art Museum

Last week was pretty uneventful. I went on a fun tour of the art museum at the U yesterday with the natural history museum peeps. I also registered to take the Elementary Praxis exam because I am most likely to get an elementary teaching job in lieu of a social studies teaching job next year. I also started my thesis and will finish up my primary research and proposal revisions this week.

New Year, New Me

Just kidding! I will probably remain the same! I'll enter 2020 still single and anxiety-ridden. This past week has been good and I have gotten a lot of work done on my thesis. My official thesis class starts tomorrow and I start DIBELS testing too since I am now 1st grade's test administrator. I will update and welcome to 2019!
